Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide or create while using MealMind, including:

• Account information: your name, email address, authentication details, and account settings.
• Meal preferences: dietary preferences, allergies or ingredient restrictions you choose to enter, household preferences, cooking goals, and meal-plan inputs.
• Meal plans and grocery lists: plans, recipes, saved items, and grocery lists you create, import, or edit.
• Receipts and price observations: receipt files you upload, the information you review or enter from those receipts, and saved grocery price observations. Receipt files may include information visible on the receipt, such as store, date, items, quantities, and amounts.
• Usage and device information: basic technical and activity information, such as pages viewed, feature use, browser or device type, and approximate diagnostic information.
• Communications: information you include when you contact us for support or feedback.

We use information to operate and improve MealMind. This includes to:

• create and secure your account;
• generate, save, and personalize meal plans and grocery lists;
• show grocery estimates and price-history insights based on the information available in your workspace;
• store receipt uploads and the price observations you choose to save after review;
• provide support, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with you;
• understand service use through analytics and improve features; and
• protect MealMind, our users, and the service from misuse.

MealMind is not designed to provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Please use your own judgment and consult an appropriate professional about health, allergy, or dietary needs.

If you purchase a paid MealMind plan, payment is handled through MadeThis and its platform checkout providers. We do not intend to collect or store your full payment-card number on MealMind. The payment provider's own privacy terms apply to information it processes to complete a transaction.

MealMind may offer optional integrations with third-party services, such as Kroger, when they are enabled. If you choose to connect or use an integration, we may receive or send the information needed to provide that feature, subject to the permissions you grant and the third party's terms and privacy policy. We do not enable a third-party connection merely because you visit MealMind.

We use service providers to help run MealMind, including hosting, authentication, analytics, storage, and checkout providers. They may process information on our behalf only as needed to provide their services to us. We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand how MealMind is used and improve it.

We may share information:

• with service providers that support MealMind;
• with an integration you choose to enable;
• if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect people and the service; or
• as part of a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, where permitted by law.

We do not sell your personal information in exchange for money.

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide MealMind, maintain your account, meet legal or operational requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can delete supported content from the product where those controls are available. To request account deletion or ask about deleting personal information, email team@mealmind.madethis.app. We may need to verify your request before completing it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

MealMind is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can review and address the request.

We may update this Privacy Policy as MealMind changes. When we do, we will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Please review this page periodically for the current version.
